Samsung x BAFTA Brand Activation

The vision

Ketchum engaged equip event services to create a standout brand activation celebrating the partnership between Samsung and BAFTA. The aim was to showcase Samsung’s newest screens within BAFTA’s iconic venue, engage industry influencers, and reinforce both brands’ innovation credentials, all on a very tight schedule.

Our approach

With only days for pre production and fabrication, our team designed and built every bespoke element from scratch. We draped the space to define a dedicated display zone and crafted custom plinths and a display wall to mount Samsung’s latest screens. A large step and repeat backdrop framed the presentation area, and a themed movie poster wall provided additional visual storytelling. We also built a bespoke plinth to showcase Samsung’s new domestic projector at the perfect viewing height.

Installation on site was completed within a single day. Our rapid response crews handled power distribution, structural supports and full audio visual integration to ensure every screen and speaker performed flawlessly on launch.

Client reflections

Ketchum praised the speed and precision of our delivery. Despite the accelerated timeline, each custom piece was delivered exactly as envisioned. Guests highlighted the seamless flow from the draped entrance through to the projector demonstration and remarked on the clean layout and impactful presentation throughout the venue.

Sustainable impact

Sustainability was at the heart of our approach. All scenic panels, drapes and plinth materials were sourced from recycled resources and reclaimed for future use. Equipment and crew were mobilised using our electric vehicle fleet to minimise carbon emissions. This allowed us to deliver a premium activation that was both environmentally responsible and true to the Samsung and BAFTA partnership ethos.
