Wolf 190th Anniversary

Royal Opera House

The vision

Luxury heritage brand Wolf 1834 partnered with equip event services to mark their 190th anniversary with a one-night-only experience at Royal Opera House’s Paul Hamlyn Hall. The evening doubled as the launch of their latest collection of jewellery boxes and needed to capture the elegance of the brand while immersing guests in a powerful narrative. At the heart of the brief was a storytelling challenge: bring to life the legacy of founder Philip Wolf in a way that felt emotional, cinematic, and true to the brand's design-led ethos.

Our approach

Working closely with the Wolf team, we helped shape and develop the creative narrative, crafting a multi-sensory experience that would resonate with both long-time partners and new audiences. We composed a bespoke soundscape and lighting concept to support each chapter of the founder’s story, told through enhanced scenic stations placed throughout the venue.

The centrepiece moment featured a dramatic reveal: a direct descendant of Philip Wolf appeared from within a custom-built scenic box to deliver a powerful speech that linked past to present. Supporting the moment were composed musical cues and sound effects that gave the experience an emotional arc, all timed precisely through a fully managed PA system.

We installed a complete technical package, including a premium DJ kit for the reception, layered lighting scenes to shift the mood throughout the evening, and precise audio management across speeches, music, and live elements.

Client reflections

Wolf 1834 praised the event for translating their heritage into a bold and modern celebration. The seamless storytelling, considered design, and technical execution delivered a brand moment that felt authentic and unforgettable.

“Our event at The Royal Opera House was run with such professionalism from show management to music to sound effects to lights - it all worked so well to grab everyone's attention, just how I had imagined it in my head and you managed to bring it all to life.”

Sustainable impact

Our approach to sustainability was grounded in intentional choices. We used LED lighting fixtures throughout to reduce energy consumption and minimised build by integrating scenic and AV within existing venue architecture. Equipment was delivered using our electric vehicle fleet. Scenic elements, including the reveal box, were built for repurposing or recycling, ensuring the production left a minimal footprint while delivering maximum impact.
